My dream is this?

Okay, this may sound corny, but it's true! My dream is to become a teenage singer/ actress. I can't afford an agent, or anything like that. I can sing really good, but I just can't afford it. Please help me! I CAN take rejection, because I have lived with it all my life. I am not allowed to have myspace,and if you heard me sing, you would agree that I am really good. I know I can do it, but I guess...it's only a dream. Also, people judge me because my role model is Vanessa Hudgens. I look up to her, as kind of like a celebrity sister. I love her song Say okay. I'm seriously desperate for help! Please tell me the truth, and not some kind of crap...NO SWARING/PROFANITY please!!!!!!!!

where there is a will there is a way, talent can be heard in many ways, go to karaoke bars, if you are old enough, try recording yourself on your stereo, send it around. find web addresses and see whats available for young amateurs etc. If you want something enough then you should be willing to do whatever it takes(without actually comprimising your morals or final goal!!) take risks, risk knockbacks, rome wasnt built in a day and sometimes these things happen by sheer coincidence or pure luck.

or you can try out a drama club. or go to the locl community center. or you can make little home movies put it on youtube then bunches of people will see it. thats satisfying.

i agree with cope 123, you could start off being famous by promoting yourself on you tube, which could possibly make you popular. Another thing that you can do is audition for singing shows like American idol, or x factor, it depends on whether you live in the UK or USA. Or you could wait until you're older, save up money and then get an agent. Good luck =)

Esmee Denters was a YouTube singing sensation, and now she's famous and sings with celebrities and has record deals. Posting them on YouTube could be your ticket to fame if you sing VERY well. Also, you can get good feedback from other singers on YouTube to help improve. You have to understand the difficulty and compettition in the music/acting industry. Even on YouTube, there's hundreds of thousands of very telented young adults and kids that sing and have incrediable voices. You may want to judge whether your dream is reasonable by checking our some of the other singers to see where you stand. And by all means, try out for American Idol to get a realistic view of your potential for success in the music industry. I know many people with the same dream as you, and some people just "have it" and are born with an incredible voice so it's hard to level the playing field.

Just remember to be ready for diappointment (not saying you'll fail.. but it's always possible). Keep your career options open and try hard to make something of your life and have a good base to be your backup if you can't follow your dream.
