Myspace???

does anybody think myspace roleplaying is weird?? its when your choose a celebrity, pick a fake name, and go on like its really you, but the other roleplayers know its not, people get married and crap like that, do you think thats weird?

Myspace???

I think its funny that there are people out there with so much time on their hands. Perhaps instead of making fake myspace profiles they could do my calculus homework since I can't seem to find time between two jobs and college.

Myspace???

yess i do.... bizarre

Myspace???

Of course. Thats why i don't go on Myspace anymore. Glad i can find someone i can relate to.

;)

Myspace???

kids stuff. totally....... LOL!

Myspace???

yes no one should do that

Myspace???

Ugh It's immature and pointless, I mean that's not what myspace is for.

Myspace???

Yup it make it hard to tell if it is an official celebrity page. I think it is retarded.

Myspace???

It's stupid to do such things.... myspace is to keep in touch with friends/family....get a life chick...

Myspace???

yeah... it's ridiculous...

Myspace???

It depends ... sometimes it's fun to "become" someone else ... even if you are perfectly happy with who you are, it can be fun to exercise fantasies and personalties that would completely contradict the normal you.

However, there is a fine line between fun and obsessive. I know people who get way to into it and start feeling bad about their real life, trying to adopt their persona full time, or are not forthcoming with others about the fact that they're exaggerating/making things up.

It's all about balance ... you can't just overwhelmingly say that "every myspace roleplayer is weird", but then again you can't say that it's not weird.

Myspace???

I think that anyone who thinks so little of themselves that they must pretend to be someone else is doing a diservice to themselves and those around them. Whether it be on My Space/internet period, or the 'real world' (as it's been phrased), they're still just posers.. And who wants to deal with that?

Yeah, and the people that ARE ok with being 'friends' on My Space with posers might as well be one themselves.
